Platinium
Platinium is unquestionably the most famous french subtop team. Since its creation, Platinium took part in a lot of french LANs, as well as some online tournaments, placing Matthieu "matHEND" Roquigny's team at the fourth place on the french CS:GO podium. They are therefore right behind Epsilon.. For now. Indeed, Platinium keeps on improving, winning matches where no one would bet on them, when Epsilon is going through a rough time.
Platinium recently won the french event LanExperience #19, also known as LanEx. They managed to overpass Remake-eSports, former Katrina, as well as Infamous eSport. This fall meant also ESWC for the team ! Following the withdrawal of E4US, an algerian team, because of visa issues, Brandon "Storen" Valembois and his teammates had been called to take the vacant place in the Electronic Sports World Cup. Their journey will stop at groups, despite a 16-10 win against Ninjas in Pyjamas. As for the ESWC France, Platinium ended at the third place, right behind Team-LDLC and Titan. Note, however, that Epsilon didn't attend this french ESWC. We can't therefore assess whether Platinium deserves to take the third place in the french overall podium over Robin "GMX" Stahmer's team.
This showmatch, making them face 3DMAX, will be a real challenge for Platinium. A winning would bring them closer to the third place of the french podium, while a defeat would consolidate their place in the subtop. A friendly match then, but full of promises for our French.

3DMAX
Unlike their French opponents, the Finnish members of 3DMAX only play together for a short time. Their team, created in June upon the ashes of ENCE eSports and called ENCORE, was recruited by the french organisation last September. Although the female CS:GO team of 3DMAX won the ESWC, the male team is dealing with some issues. Beginning this event in the same group as Dignitas and iBUYPOWER, Joona "natu" Leppänen and his teammates won't manage to go through the group stage, winning a single match against the japanese outsider team Cipangu.GO. 3DMAX is therefore seeking to take its revenge, and show the world they can perform well on the international stage. This will include facing the French of Platinium in a Best Of 5 which promises to be challenging for both teams.
