While the french CS:GO scene is upside-down and the major tournaments go one after another, Millenium offers you a break, just the time of a showmatch between two teams with an incredible capacity : Epsilon and Copenhagen Wolves. Both teams will fight in a Bo5 in order to determine who of the French or the Danes will win the showmatch and its 100€ cashprize. This event will take place on Tuesday, September 16th, and will begin at 7pm.
The two teams will face each other on the same mappool used during ESL One Cologne, and announced as the one applying to ESWC aswell. Therefore, the maps are as following :
de_dust2 - de_nuke - de_inferno - de_mirage - de_cache - de_cobblestone - de_overpass
Last year, Denmark beat France during ESEC 2013 Finals, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of every french fans. Even though the rosters are not the same this year, the rivalry remains strong between Danes and French, promising a fierce battle between the two opponents. There are similiarities between Copenhagen Wolves and Epsilon, which might offer some tights duels. On the first hand, the french young AWP prodigy, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser. On the other hand, Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen, awarded "Best 2013 AWP" by our colleagues from HLTV.org. Meanwhile, Rene "cajunb" Borg, well-known for his high accuracy, will be facing the player with the highest headshot rate of ESL One Cologne 2014, Adil "ScreaM" Bernlitom. Despite those look-alikes between the two teams, some differences might tilt the playing field in favour of either one of the teams. Indeed, Copenhagen Wolves have a strong background, both online and offline, playing with the same team mates for a long time and knowing how to perfectly fit together. Epsilon has a double-edged sword : its short history. Indeed, although it could affect the cohesion of the team and don't let them enough time to practice new strategies, this neo-formation may surprise the Danes, who would have no time to study their teamplay. This showmatch will be tight, but a Bo5 match leaves no room for hesitation. Both teams will have to give everything they can do.
Epsilon
Epsilon is one of the results of the massive changes which appeared on the french CS:GO scene this past few days. Epsilon puts its new roster to the test by answering Millenium's call to meet the Danes from Copenhagen Wolves. This match will allow the French to implement their new strategies, and test their cohesion in a longer match than what they might be used to play. As a Best of 5, they will need both focus and stamina than in a "classic" Bo1 or Bo3. This showmatch is the opportunity for Millenium to take a closer look to the players of Epsilon : Robin "GMX" Stahmer, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, Gordon "Sf" Giry, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Kévin "Uzzziii" Vernel.
