[M] Azratz : Hello guy, I want to thank you for accepting this interview. Can you do a fast presentation of you and your team for the people who don't know who you are?
Ellis « Black » Strouthos : Hello my name is Ellis Strouthos also known as Blackk and my team consist of myself, Luke, Wonder and Sowerz. We are a fairly new team but have bundles of experience and seem to have formed a very good team chemistry. We currently represent Enigma who we will be playing under for the all future events such as Gfinity and EGL.
Last week you won the last qualifier tournament for the second edition of gfinity 2. Can you explain how it passed?
Warren basically rang me up and asked if we wanted to compete in a online qualifier after we got disqualified from the mini LAN tournament a few weeks back. We played in the tournament against tricked, splay and TEC and managed to win quite comfortably. I was quite shocked we won as i have a bad record of winning things online.
You will be in the Group Charlie with Millenium, TCM and Envyus. How do you feel it?
It is a scary group but i think we could do some damage if we play our game. We have been putting in some good hours and seem to be getting some good chemistry going. I think TCM will be the hardest challenge as i have always rated them as individual players and as a team. If we play our game that we know we can play on the day we should be fine.
And, could you give your predictions about the TOP 3 at this event.
Complexity, unite, infused.
Will you go at ESWC in Paris, which is the last big tournament on BO2?
If we can qualify then yes, if not then i guess not.
What was your best moment this season? Your worst?
I have not had a good moment on this game as it seems to be my worse season and worse COD, which is unfortunate as i have missed out on some amazing opportunities. By best moment has to be making a last minute team and qualifying for G2.
What are your expectations for the next COD?
I'm expecting good things as i do like IW cod games, but after being in the scene for so long and don't like to have high expectation as I'm always disappointed.
For you, what is the biggest difference between Amrican and European level? Because, we could see a large difference in differents events.
They just seem to understand the game inside out and have four players they are selfless and work as a team. They communicate so well, tell each other when they need help, trade at the perfect times and just have that great chemistry where they just all understand what they need to do and what they want each other to do. Us as Europeans can be very selfish players for instance just play for kills. I don't think EU players are any far behind gun skill wise, it's just hard to find four players with the same mindset like most Americans have.
