Hey Tom, what’s up ? How do you feel after your good results at EGL ? Do you think the team improved itself ?
Hello! I'm good thanks, how're you? EGL was our second event as a team, but you could say it was our first event due to only creating the team a few days before Dreamhack Valencia, but I feel great as nobody expected us to get 2nd, yet we did! We could of even taken first but we ran out of steem. The team definitely improved.
This week-end you’re going to attend an E2G event, the Opale Arena. Do you feel ready for this French competition ?
Indeed we are! I'm excited as it's my first event in France and we're hoping to get our first LAN win under our belt this weekend. The competition will be very strong with the likes of Legacy, Supremacy and Unbreakable (there are many more but they are the ones I could think of from the top of my head),
Speaking about Opale, who do you think will be your nemesis ?
I wouldn't really say we have a nemesis for the event but the three teams stated above will be some of our hardest matches.
The Opale Arena offers a slot for the ESWC France. What would ESWC represent for you if you get this slot ?
I would love to win the spot for ESWC, and so would our team - I just hope we can pull it out of the bag!
You’re now in the team for a month. How do you feel right now ? Is it difficult to team with 3 French guys ? What do you think about Millenium ?
I feel great, the team is good fun, we have excellent teamwork and chemistry and we all have a laugh, which is a must in a team. I don't really find it that hard to be in a team with french players either. On the topic of Millenium, they are a great organisation and I'm loving being a part of it.
DreamHack 3rd, EGL 2nd and plenty of competitions coming. Is the team ready to reach the top now ? Do you think you can win an EU event, like RGT #11 for example now ?
I will be happy as long as we can maintain a placement within the top three for every event we attend, of course I'd love for us to take an event and I feel we can do so.
How is your French training so far ? Did you learn some new words and expresions after DreamHack ?
I've learnt a few terms/words since then, but I'm finding it hard howveer the team are great as they are learning English too.
