[M] DieStar – Im pretty okey but im so tired right now, i just came to Marseille, at the Millenium Gaming House, that was such a long travel :)
Oh, great. You came to enjoy the sun from Marseille?
[Laughs] Not really - i want to be a better gamer, here i will play whole day, i think player like me need it because i can’t find motivation at home.
I heard the Gaming House will be crowded during summer. How long will you stay at there?
yea here will be like 25 people during the day so it’s really a lot, but i don’t need so much space, a desk and a computer are enough for me :) I will stay here for over 1 month, it will be 40 days~~ so very long time
What do you expect from your stay at the Gaming House? General improvement or working on specific matchups or strategies?
The best thing for me to be here is player - ForGG, i hope i can learn a lot from him, i will just play whole day, training every matchup and new strategies with players who will be here, then i will show how i improved on some LANs :)
Great, then your fans will be able to come and root for you. Any known dates, so far, or will it depend from your training?
Yeah i got huge amount of messages already about my summer at the gaming house, i will show my games here on my stream: twitch.tv/mdiestar. I will probably participate in DH Valencia but I am not so sure, that's the earliest LAN so i plan to go there!
Great. You just came back from DreamHack. Unfortunately, you didn't perform as well as you hoped. What did you think you were lacking to be better?
Yeah i'm so sad about my DH way, it was so bad for me, to be honest I didn't prepare any strategies for this cup, didn't play a lot and that was the main problem, but now everything gonna change, i have huge motivation to be better, to show everybody that i can be in top10 EU players.
What did you think of your teammates' overall results?
Well, they have pretty good results especially Dayshi in Acer TeamStory Cup, he just crush every team we meet :D ForGG also good results - WCS EU, WCS Finals, so in my team there are good 2 Yerrans from who i will learn a lot :)
We could say you are one of the greatest fans of ForGG and Dayshi, right?
No, no [Laughs] i just said that i will learn from them :) im biggest fan of JaeDong, since brood war i love this player, i hope someday i will be that good as he is :) it’s my dream!
Then, your heart must have bled, Monday evening, seeing JaeDong losing to StarDust. What did you think of the DreamHack Finals?
Yeah my heart was broken after this, i think JeaDong really deserved this tournament, he played amazing against players like Lucifron or Teaja, i would like to see JeaDong winning this tournament.
At least the games were close. Now, it is the first time i have the chance to interview you since the release of Heart of the Swarm. How do you feel in this "new world"?
I really enjoy HOTS, i stopped to play WOL cause of imba - everybody know that zerg was imba with infestors, nobody can tell thats different. Now it looks really, really good, game is balanced finally and i won’t stop playing on the best level.
Which is your favorite HotS unit, and which it the worst?
i love to use mines, cause they are so crazy good haha, im also so happy when i see good detenation on banelings! its awesome feeling, i dont have the worst unit, i like everything but less and more :) anyway im big fan of Widow Mines :D
Well you are a heart breaker, then ;) What is the unit you fear the most, if any?
[Laughs] Yeah exactly, when i see big detonations and then some comments from Zergs like "wtf, how, imba" its so funny! I fear templars the most, cause if i won’t be able to emp or snipe them im fucked up :D so this the most unlikely unit for me
If you had to sort the races by strength, what would it be? Unless you think it is only a matter of skill...
i think it's only skill right now, nothing more, as you all can see every tournament wins another race, its no point to tell about imbalanced right now cause there is balance. Maybe some abuse unit like hellbat drop whole game, but still i think it’s not imba, just SKILLLLLL so train a lot and be a better gamer! :)
Then your skill made you win EPS Poland Season VI. Congratulations :D How did you feel?
Yea i won and I’m so proud of that, I felt ... ughhh amazing, long time ago i didn’t feel it, feel of the winning, that’s soooo good, i want more winning on LANs that’s why i came to Marseille, after this win in EPS i knew that i have to come here and make my skill even much better! I won’t stop after EPS Poland.
Then, given you're very motivated, what is your next big goal? WCS? DreamHack Valencia?
Yes im so motivated, like never ever! :D The next goal is good performance on DreamHack Valencia (if i will go there), unfortunately i didn’t advance to WCS cause i didn’t play a lot, i will try in next season.
Yes, it feels like motivation is flowing out of you :D I can feel it from here!! How do you explain so much of it? Is it Marseille, or the fact you will be able to train so much?
I just want winning, thats it, im frustrated about my loses, i hates losing, Marseille is additional motivation for me, i feel really good here and i think my time is coming ! : )
