The interview was done in Korean, and i want to thank Yuna (Twitter) for her translation.
[M] DamCx : Hi ForGG. How are you, and how is the life in Marseille ? Are you feeling any homesickness ?
[M] ForGG : I am currently practicing hard while staying at the Millenium Gaming House. Of course, I definitelty am homesick.
When some of your teammates are at the Gaming House, how are you training with them ?
If the other players want to practice we will play separate custom games. We also talk a lot about the game itself, and we're currently running the house similarly to the way Korean players live in their team training facilities.
Could you tell us a few words in French, without cursing ?
"Bonjour salut ça va oui non" I don't know that much, it's very difficult ^^.
What kind of competition do you prefer ? Individual or team ones ?
I enjoy both individual and team based tournaments and I think they are equally important.
What do you think of the game, lately ? Is there anything you find imbalanced ?
I think that what it means to be a pro means to raise your skill to overcome balance issues instead of blaming it. However, with that being said, toss seems a bit strong.
Let's talk about the DreamHack. You were the only Millenium player to reach the third group stage, and this is when the tournament ended for you. What did you lack to reach the final bracket ?
I was definitely not in a good condition because I had to play the game at a late time, and I was in an fairly exhausted state.
Leenock won the DreamHack on a close 3-2 against Naniwa. Do you think that a Zerg winning over a Protoss reflects the state of the game in terms of strength ?
I just think Leenock won because he played better than Naniwa.
Now, about the many Clan Wars Millenium is involved in, we can say you are the most successful player of the team. What do you think of this, and how does it make you feel ?
With the confidence I have as being the team's ace player, I think I need to produce better results. I think I am still somewhat lacking.
Let's talk about the WCS. You were invited for the WCS Europe. How do you feel about it ?
I feel great because I feel validated, and the only thing I am thinking about right now is producing better results.
Now, you were in the first group to be played, and you managed to make it to the Ro16. Did you find hard to do it ?
Other than the long hours competing, there is nothing particularly difficult
Are there any players you are afraid to face, or some you really want to play ?
There are no players that I'm afraid to play against. I want to compete against players that will help me provide entertaining games for my fans.
In the second game against Nerchio, you typed "Shut the fuck up ok" which surprised a lot of observers. Was it a joke or is there a real rivalry between you two, and in that case where does it come from ?
When I entered the foreign scene, I met a couple of foreign players who did not seem to be professional. He was one of those players, and I don't think it's necessary for me to be manner with players with amateur mindsets.I would like it if fans simply considered it a entertaining moment in esports.
Thank you for your answers, ForGG. Do you wanna add anything for your fans?
I think that the Millenium players have a lot of potential to become successful. I hope that you guys can continue rooting for us until the day that we become the strongest team in the world. Thank you ^^.
